it's a rainy sunday over here. it's good for mushrooms and hopefully i will finally be able to spend some time in the woods next week... i don't have any bilberries in the freezer yet and it worries me. in the meantime, thought it would be fun to share some glimpses of very easygoing rat 'training' or playtime. my fave part might be the very beginning...
savu already knows 'spin' very well but 'round' is still in the works. last night he did it flawlessly, but that might have been because he was competing with sysi for the treats. i'm just using my tongue as a clicker to cue him of successful performance. not sure if he actually knows what it means, even, but he does know to expect treats eventually! pay attention to the ears, how he starts to anticipate the next request mid-munch already.
also, my heart melts from the little whorls of fur on his little knees.
