yesterday i took the challenge on modish (like a flick of glove on the face) and exclaimed
"i will try something i've never done before, and post about it. don't know what it will be, yet. just something small and simple and... yes, fun."
well, i got this far before realizing that the cathedral window quilt sample was neither small nor fun.
...so i made this small starry sky instead. not earth-shatteringly original but quick, satisfying and fun. i think i may make a wristlet out of it. i don't wear a wrist-watch anymore, but i like the idea of checking eternity every now and then. also, if you look closely, the loose weave of the fabric made a perfect little shooting star!
