i bought these miniature lilies from the supermarket last week. they were a lot paler under the fluorescent lights, i wasn't prepared for the intense magenta they turned into in bright sunlight. i hope to find similar white ones, the kind with little red specks, like freckles, on the petals. i'd love a whole row of them along the railing.
it's hard to believe june has come to its end. and i haven't. i still can't think of anything i want more than death, but the fear of failure keeps me alive.
