i am still pretty much pinching myself every day, looking out the windows. can you believe i live nearly in the town centre and this is my view? spectacular sunsets (unedited photo does it no justice) on clear evenings over the old cemetery. foliage and greenery we still wait for, but i'm cheating and forcing some lilac branches from the countryside among a few of my houseplants and new cuttings that are hopefully taking root.
learning new ways of everyday living. not having to worry about catching the last bus home at 4:20 PM is one of the perks of this move. now i just have to learn when places close, ha. not having to do a ton of grocery shopping on one go is proving harder to adjust to, still keep hoarding stuff every time. thoroughly enjoyed being able to just up and go have a beer in the park when my friend suddenly called the other night. today i went to the library reading hall and read a bunch of magazines at a leisurely pace. probably will make a habit of that, as well as riding my bike. surprised my thighs earlier this week and they're still recovering. definitely need more excercise.
collared doves coo in the trees across the street every night and remind me of my favourite prince song. so many sad tidings lately.
