the palette of the season. i would've included the deep green and intense purple of heather but those blooming hues would not replicate into photos no matter what i tried. they go so well with the rusty pine needles. heather grows rampant by the wayside where the forest has been cut down near my home. and all over the woods, really. but in the open the colour is at its most vivid.
i want a clothing collection based on these images. the top one is so knitwear. and i think i've got fabrics to match everything above, in my heaps of stash. if i leave a plate full of milk and honey on the floor overnight, will the fairies freshen my wardrobe? would acorns do?
which kind of reminds me, the top two photos in this post on modish prove my previous point on big badass american squirrels...
