sorry, haven't been very active on the video project, so here's what got cut out of the chaga movie. shot on the same day, edited this evening, three times before i got the subtitles where they should be... apologies also if any text goes by too fast, my computer played everything so much slower than youtube does.

i cannot emphasize enough that these mushroom posts are for entertainment and inspiration only. get to know your fungi properly before ever ingesting. in some cases even a bite can be lethal. there are also regional differences to be taken into consideration. things that i eat in my neck of the woods may not be edible where you live.

having said that, i hope you enjoy not only my videos, but foraging and the outdoors in general!

we have had more snow since i shot these clips, several inches stormed down a week ago. i had to shovel my way to the door when i came home from a weekend of fun in the city. i put a little dent on my lent and ate a big piece of chocolate cake before realizing i wasn't supposed to... it had beer and 'philadelphia' cheese in it, i have no regrets whatsoever!

i found, and didn't get, a perfect apartment for let. it had everything i want for in a city home: balcony, bathtub, white walls, nice kitchen (an actual kitchen!) and doubled front door. i don't mean a paired kinda door, but two doors one after another to keep the noise from the stairwell at bay. the view was to the west over the whole town, super sunset situation. but someone else was luckier than me. i'm looking for an even better and cheaper one now...
