note to self: next time bring nuts!
today i did what i've been meaning to for the past four years. i went to the old cemetery. it was quite a walk, especially on such a hot and humid day, but well worth it. the place is huge, and i just wandered aimlessly about, taking tons of pictures. the oldest parts with the tall trees i loved, not the least for the shade... i must have walked for over five hours.
the tame squirrels were ridiculously cute and funny. and a bit intimidating. i thought they might gang up on me and raid my bag for goodies. one ran a circle around me over and over again, even after all the others had given up and left. as if i just needed a bit of persuasion.
