little savu is growing fast and imitating every naughty thing sysi does, so time out is nothing new to him any more. i'm trying to keep both of them busy by teaching little tricks, starting with 'spin' and the 'double spin' i tried on a whim, which they both got on the spot, so they know how to count to two at least. as i'm typing this, savu has gone from trying to steal a can of pringles from my backpack to licking my nose to chewing my sweater because i tried to hide an energy bar under it... he seems more interested in the wrapper than the actual bar.Qrq (he is helping me with the typing, too...)
we had a little bit of daylight today after what seemed like an eternity of stormy winds and rainy, gray skies. it's just about as warm though, as it was cold in june. i could use some below zero days right about now, and some positive news would be nice for a change. i'm really struggling to keep my spirits up lately. luckily the rats make me laugh every day and take my mind off bleaker things. too busy chasing after those two thugs to worry about the world.
