there is a white-tailed deer in this picture, but it's blending in very well. i saw a few on my walk this evening. dusk is a lovely time to go out, i should do it more often. it comes earlier each day, too.

blueberry leaves have gone pale and almost seem to glow in the dark... the darkened woods are quiet and comforting. as is a sip of homemade apple-cranberry juice laced with gin. and bowls of noodle soup.
