to surprise basu baageli, i sprouted some wheatgrass and timotei in his travel box. it doesn't take very much to make a rat happy. he slept in there all day.
i have proper video footage of his happiness, but turns out my new camera makes a video format that windows doesn't understand, instead of the standard, so i can't edit or watch them on my laptop now. i will look into converting the files later...
tomorrow is the end of my chocolate break. 40 days without, no slip-ups! i am so proud of myself. the first month was relatively easy but after that, it's been a struggle. i did eat sugary things that i wasn't supposed to, and crisps too, but my aim was never to be a saint.
