it's like the last minute before the trees start bursting out with green, although i've been saying that for weeks, it seems. it's been warm but now there is a cool breeze from the arctic sea, so it's a shock going from a sheltered spot into the wind. it's the time of blue flowers, we have anemones, squills and grape hyacinths in bloom. the willows are an exception with pale yellow, bumble bees are a big fan.
i've been busy around the yard. it's a lot of raking.
