frisky little snowfly here closes the black and white february. spring is in the air, which in these here latitudes reads "arctic winds". the more southern parts of europe may be warming up, but that warm air rises up, sucking in ours, which invites these chilly air masses in from the polar region, via siberia i'm assuming, sometimes at impressive velocity. but the sun, when it shines, is so very warm.

i replaced my sorry-looking forsythia branches with lilacs in the bud. some grow right by the side of the house where they really have no place to be, so i had to wield my secateurs anyway. while clipping away, i spotted daylily and nettle sprouting where snow had melted already. no sign of snowdrops, though.

movie march sounded good to me, so i was thinking i should carry on with the themes. my editing arsenal is not that great and i will be shooting with my pocket camera, so keep your expectations reasonable. the aim is to post at least four short videos next month, but i might not be able to, since i already have quite a lot on my plate in the form of major life-changing decisions to make, and then some. but since my means are limited and i can't get all carried away with turning it into a huge production, there's a fair chance i'll manage this. suggestions are welcome! i have no ideas yet.
