then there's the tatti mushroom bowl. i see it all over the internet and i'm jealous. a couple of years ago one could still find them for next to nothing at the fleamarkets. well, i didn't. spot one at an auction today and prepare to part with some serious money. why did you become so popular? i just wanted a third popcorn bowl to go with my red one and brown one. with fun fungi on. maybe if the bowl itself wasn't formed by kaj franck, they would have remained more obscure, and thus more attainable. ( i just bought a smaller bowl on etsy for way too much than i would normally pay. to make up for last month. and why not, it's not like paypal money is real money... )
lastly, i have wanted a pair of these eskimo salt and pepper shakers for as long as i can remember, and i wish they weren't so cool that you can only buy them on japanese websites nowadays.
it's so weird the way desire works.
and for me,
so consuming.
