i'm kind of overwhelmed by everything right now. more so than usual. could be the over-tiredness mixed with a bout of new-year mania collapsing upon itself. today i was happy to be overwhelmed by the sheer incredibility of vivian maier's photography and how it was discovered. it was featured both on the news and in the new etsy blog. i can imagine the thrill of discovery. i wish i could participate in funding the planned documentary, but the page is set up for credit cards only. so typically american.

the photos make me regret not making it to chicago when i had the chance even more now.

and... i'd really love to have this dress, from one of her color photo gems...
